SERIE DE PENSAMIENTO POLÍTICO "CAMILO SÁNCHEZ" (VII)

Rosa Louise Park (1913-2005)
Rosa Parks was a seamstress who dared to break the city’s segregation law in Alabama by refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man. Her action resulted in her being arrested and fined but it was the catalyst for a civil disobedience movement for civil rights in the USA that went down in history. Rosa Parks was a militant member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and she fought together with Martin Luther King Jr. until segregation was declared unconstitutional.
